Our Story

Global Goddess was started in 2020 by Olivia Hamilton and Cayman Kai. Cayman met our first artist, Rhandzeka, while studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. Rhandzeka is originally from Mpumalanga and she and her mother create beautiful, hand-beaded shoes and also hire local single mothers to help with beading. After joining forces with Olivia to make a plan to share Rhandzeka’s shoes with more people, they decided to expand and build an entire company focused on finding beautiful, unique, empowering products made by women around the world. Our products promote intersectionality, female empowerment, and social responsibility.
